Conversational Search lets you find companies or contacts by typing a sentence, instead of setting filters one by one.
For example, type "VPs of Engineering at SaaS companies in the UK" and ReachStream turns it into the right filters for you.
It uses the same search you already know: the same results list and the same saved lists. It is just a faster way to start.
1. Type what you're looking for. Describe your target in plain English in the search box that sits above the filter panel.
2. Check what ReachStream understood. The filters it applied (such as industry, location, or company size) appear as small labeled tags.
3. Fix anything that's wrong. Edit or remove any tag by hand. Your results update right away.
4. Review your results. Matching companies or contacts appear in the same results list you use today.
5. Save your search. Save it as a named list, the same way you save a list built with
the filter panel.
Conversational Search is available on every plan, including Free. The number of searches depends on your plan and how you are billed:

Searches are
counted separately from your export credits.
Conversational Search understands these details, alone or combined in one sentence:
• Industry
• Location
• Company size
• Job title
• Seniority
• Technology used
It also
understands words like "excluding" or "without", and ranges
like "more than 50 employees".
|
What you type |
What ReachStream searches for |
|
"VPs of Engineering at SaaS companies in the UK" |
· Seniority: VP or above · Department: Engineering · Industry: SaaS · Location: United Kingdom |
|
"Startups using AWS, excluding anything based in California" |
· Company stage: startup · Technology: AWS · Location: United States, except California |
|
"marketing people" |
Department: Marketing. No seniority is added, because you didn't mention one. |
When a word could mean more than one thing, ReachStream Prospect asks one short question instead of guessing.
For example, "high-growth" could mean headcount growth or revenue growth, so you may see: "Did you mean headcount growth or revenue growth?" Pick an option or type your own answer, and the search finishes building itself.
If it still
isn't right, edit the filter tags by hand.
A request like
"companies that are good fits for us" is too general for ReachStream
to guess. You will be asked a clarifying question. Adding details such as industry,
location, or a company size helps.
Each plan
includes a set number of Conversational Search searches (see the table above).
If you have used your limit, you can keep using the filter panel as usual or
upgrade your plan for a higher limit.
